Visiting Artist in Kathmandu, Nepal

This is a record of a month-long stay in Nepal by a Japanese artist and art manager. It includes experiences as a visiting artist at the School of Arts, Kathmandu University, as well as teaching sessions at an elementary and junior high school located in the mountains at an altitude of 2,700 meters, which I was able to visit through local connections. The writing reflects on Nepal’s culture, daily life, art, nature, and history.
