Scent

 

Scent exuded by a familiar person

When you are so familiar with it

When I no longer remember the scent

I felt a strong desire to be alone

I know myself well enough to know that I always look dissatisfied

the desire to go on a journey

Seems to reach far into the mountains

I let myself go with the flow

The land where I landed without knowing what to expect

In the midst of a mountain range clad in snow

The layers of the earth

The severity of the weather

The people of this town

Quietly

They live strong

An invisible force

Leads strangers to this land

As they say, the weather in the mountains is fickle

One sunny day is followed by a cloudy or rainy day

The sky sinks, and so do our spirits

One day

In the intervals of a thin, cloudy night sky

The full moon of autumn appears and disappears

Behind the figure illuminated by the mirror

A shadow of myself appears

The scent of someone close to me

I search for it in my memory

There is a shadow
