I was involved in the proposal and implementation of the program as part of the “Speculative Library” organized by the Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media [YCAM].
A system that allows any resident, professional or amateur, to register and borrow artworks.
It is a mechanism for citizens to explore how they understand art, what they perceive as art, the usefulness of art, its effects and benefits for whom, and how it works by freely viewing artworks, sharing their experiences of spending time together through the exhibition, and lending and borrowing artworks.
Another element to verify the security and values of the area was the fact that the project was realized through "trust" and "manners" among residents by renting and borrowing rather than selling.
